Do I need to book an appointment for car repairs?
We recommend booking so we can make sure there is space for your car. Call us on 01623 904724 or send us your details.
How much does a car mechanic cost per hour in Mansfield?
Rather than publish an hourly rate, we price the job. Labour times and parts prices move constantly, and an hourly figure on its own tells you very little about what a repair will actually cost you.

Yes, we have a waiting area for customers. For longer repairs you can leave your car with us and we will let you know when it is ready.

What does a car diagnostic test check?

What is a DPF, and why does it need cleaning?

Do you offer AdBlue top-ups and system repairs?

Can engine remapping improve fuel efficiency?
It can, depending on the car and how it is driven. A remap can improve power and economy, and we will tell you honestly what to expect from your car before any work. See ECU remapping.
What happens if my timing chain or belt fails?
A failed timing chain or belt can cause major engine damage. Warning signs include:
- Rattling from the engine, especially on a cold start
- Difficulty starting
- Loss of power
